Exhibition On Brazilian Pedro II's Trip To Lebanon
The exhibition will feature Dom Pedro II's flag and sword, loaned by the Imperial House of Brazil, images from the ruler's diary, accounts of the cities he visited, and a map of his journey, among other materials. According to the Brazil-Lebanon Cultural Association, the event will also see the launch of a commemorative stamp and postmark created by Brazil's postal service, as well as a medal produced by the Brazilian Mint.
The exhibition is traveling and is also expected to be held at Conjunto Nacional in São Paulo. The event is supported by the Consulate General of Lebanon in São Paulo, and admission is free.
