Climate disaster policy specialist, PhD candidate in Climate Disaster Economics. Currently a disaster finance consultant at the British Red Cross, and crisis financing advisor at Start Network (Humanitarian Crisis Finance). Previously a Fulbright Scholar at Columbia University, where I studied my Master's degree in International Climate Policy at Columbia Climate School, specialising in disaster preparedness. During my Master's, I worked at the Climate Policy Initiative on blended finance, and was part of the Executive Office of the UN Secretary General in the Climate Action team, supporting Selwin Hart on climate adaptation. Before my graduate studies, I was part of the UK UNFCCC Negotiations team, following several postings in Net Zero and Private Office on the UK's Civil Service Fast stream.
