Kingsley Ivande

I am a PhD researcher in social psychology and a member of the Motivation and Intercultural Relations (MIR) Lab at the University of Victoria in Canada. My research focuses on the psychology of migration, with particular interests in immigrant adaptation and economic mobility. My work uses theory-informed, data-driven approaches to understand how individual, social and institutional factors contribute to migrants' experiences and outcomes, including how institutions can better support immigrant integration and thriving.
I have an interdisciplinary background in psychology and economics. I also bring practical experience from my previous work as a migration consultant in Nigeria. I have published peer-reviewed research, presented at international conferences, and received several scholarships and awards for academic excellence.
