Ukraine Ready To Cooperate With Moldova And Romania On Energy, Logistics And Security Zelensky
“Ukraine, Moldova, and Romania are natural allies in logistics, energy and many other areas. And it is important to develop this. This is something that makes all of us stronger. Ukraine is ready to support the development of the security capabilities of our neighbors – both Moldova and Romania. The leaders know the details, and we expect our joint steps to produce results,” Zelensky stressed.
He noted that Ukraine always coordinates its steps with Moldova in the area of European integration and emphasized that the two countries will definitely become full members of the European Union.
Zelensky thanked Romania for its support in Ukraine's relations with the European Union and at the level of EU institutions.
The Ukrainian President also stressed that Russia poses a threat not only to Ukraine but to its other neighbors as well, making it necessary to work together to give the aggressor a strong response.
“We all understand how abnormal Russia is, and we must help each other in such a way that any threats to our peoples receive a worthy response. Today we discussed joint work in the energy sector and the infrastructure that connects us and accounts for a significant part of the economic potential and national security of our countries. It is important that everything that can genuinely strengthen our states actually works. And such agreements exist between us and between our governments,” Zelensky stressed.
