Dr. Prayan Pokharel is a natural scientist and chemical ecologist who has spent over a decade studying how insects and plants interact through chemistry. His doctoral research focused on how insects tolerate, store, and turn to their own advantage the toxic compounds that plants produce to defend themselves. His broader interests cover insect conservation, biodiversity, and the chemical ecology of insects across forest and agricultural landscapes.
