Pakistan Open To State-Level Engagement With Afghanistan, FO Says
During the weekly briefing, the spokesperson rejected allegations by the Afghan Foreign Ministry that Pakistan was interfering in Afghanistan, saying Kabul must ensure that its territory is not used for terrorism against Pakistan.

The spokesperson said the Afghan interim government must fulfil its international obligations, including under the Doha framework, and prevent anti-Pakistan elements, including the TTP and BLA, from using Afghan soil.
He said Pakistan wants effective border management and counterterrorism measures that can be independently verified. Pakistan places importance on practical and verifiable progress in any dialogue process with Afghanistan.
