Sterling Slips Against Dollar, Euro
London, Aug. 27 (Petra) -- Sterling edged lower against the dollar and the euro on Thursday, according to British financial market reports.
The pound traded at $1.3576, down 0.13 percent, and eased 0.07 percent to €1.16587.
The dip follows a rally that had pushed sterling to elevated levels in recent days, financial reports said, as investors await economic developments and monetary policy decisions in Britain and the United States.
