Jordan University Hospital, Sonova Group Talk Cooperation
Amman, August 26 (Petra) – Director General of Jordan University Hospital Dr Nader Bsoul met Wednesday with a delegation from Swiss Sonova Group, led by Vice President Jason Meyer, to discuss cooperation in caring for children with hearing loss.
Bsoul discussed the hospital's medical, educational and research roles, expressing appreciation for Sonova's support in developing diagnostic, treatment and rehabilitation services for children with hearing impairments and providing access to advanced technologies.
Meyer said Sonova is committed to supporting hearing-care initiatives, urging the exchange of expertise, building the capacities of medical and technical staff and adopting the latest hearing technologies.
Since the partnership began in 2024, Sonova's support has included establishing the National Centre for Children's Hearing Care, supporting audiology programmes, providing hearing aids and cochlear implants and equipping the hospital and the Faculty of Rehabilitation Sciences with specialised audiology equipment.
The delegation toured the National Centre for Children's Hearing Care and received a briefing on its diagnostic, intervention and rehabilitation services for children and their families.
