He said that once the Ministry of Defense and other agencies finalize the aid package for Ukraine, the president of (parliamentary intelligence service oversight body) COPASIR will be asked to explain it to its members.
Meanwhile, Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani said the new aid package for Ukraine would be provided as soon as possible.
“Minister Crosetto, I and Economy Minister [Giancarlo] Giorgetti will sign this package. We will see what the timeline will be, but it will happen quite quickly,” Tajani stressed.
He assured that Italy remains“committed to supporting Ukraine” and that this support“is not only about supplying weapons.” According to Tajani, Rome is providing Kyiv with political, financial and energy assistance and will continue to do so.
In particular, with winter approaching, energy assistance is becoming especially important.
“So, our support is there, and it has different dimensions. We are doing everything possible to help Ukraine,” the Italian Foreign Minister said.
