Drone Violates Moldova's Airspace Again

“An unauthorized flight over our country's airspace occurred following Russia's air attacks on Ukraine today,” Moldova's Defense Ministry said.

According to a statement by the National Army's Air Operations Service, at 17:38, an aircraft was detected entering Moldovan airspace near the settlement of Palanca from Ukrainian territory.

At 17:43, the object re-entered Ukrainian territory from the direction of the settlement of Tudora, near the village of Hradenytsi in the Odesa region.

As reported by Ukrinform, during a Russian drone attack overnight on August 25, infrastructure at the international Vynohradivka–Vulcănești border crossing on the Ukrainian-Moldovan border was damaged. Traffic through the crossing was suspended.

During another Russian drone attack overnight on August 21, infrastructure at the Tabaky international border crossing with Moldova in the Odesa region was hit.

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha said that Russian strikes on border crossings along the Ukrainian-Moldovan border are aimed at destabilizing the region and disrupting transport links between the two countries.
