The presidential adviser believes that the Russians will attempt to destroy large shopping centers.
"That is why I said about a week ago that people should be cautious in 'Epicentr' stores, because it is not just a store - it is a store and warehouse. And now we see what is happening in Odesa: the Russians have started attacking 'Epicentr' stores specifically because they are very large retail chains," he said.

"And I tell people that it is no longer like before: the siren sounds and you have 10 minutes because a Shahed is not in much of a hurry. Now everything is changing. Now there are ballistic missiles - that means one minute, and literally a minute or two if it is a jet-powered Shahed. You hear the air raid alert, and within roughly five, seven or ten minutes, the Shahed can already attack a shopping center," Beskrestnov said.
As Ukrinform reported, on the morning of August 24, Russian forces struck the Epicentr hypermarket in Odesa's Peresyp district, injuring at least five people.
