The first agreement was signed by Rashid Khalfan Al Nuaimi, director-general of the Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and William Adib Dib Jr., president of the ABCC.
The agreement established a trade partnership between the emirate-one of the seven that make up the United Arab Emirates-and Brazil and provides for joint initiatives such as the exchange of strategic trade information and the promotion of mutual investment opportunities to foster bilateral trade flows.
Among the initiatives established under the second agreement, signed by Anas Bao, chairman of the International Relations Committee of the Federation of Syrian Chambers of Commerce, and William Adib Dib Jr., are expanding ties between companies, organizations and entrepreneurs in the two countries, as well as preserving existing economic, cooperation, scientific and technological relations.
The forum, organized by the ABCC, is sponsored by Fambras Halal, International Halal Academy, Vale, DP World, Cdial Halal, First Abu Dhabi Bank, MBRF Global Foods Company, Qatar Airways and MZAH Group Investment. Institutional supporters include the Arab League, the Union of Arab Chambers and the Federation of Industries of the State of Bahia. Cacilda Aragão Tours is a partner.
