STOCKHOLM - Aura, the Nordic consultancy group formerly known as H&H Group, has appointed former Burson Nordic leader Marta Karlqvist as partner and chief business officer.
Karlqvist joins after 16 years with Cohn & Wolfe, BCW and Burson, including more than a decade leading the firm's Nordic operations. She will focus on growth and business development and on creating more integrated offers across Aura's specialist agencies.
Aura rebranded from H&H Group in 2023 and now brings together around 500 specialists across seven companies, with operations in Sweden, Finland, Poland and the UK.
Its agencies span strategic and financial communications, PR, business consulting, sustainability, brand, creative, internal communications, digital marketing and data-driven growth, and include Hallvarsson & Halvarsson, Jung, Comprend, Intellecta, Involve, BerntzonBylund and Avalon.
Karlqvist told PRovoke Media that Aura's position between communications and business transformation was a significant factor in her decision to join the group.
She said her role would include developing integrated offers across the group and exploring how communications could be connected more directly to business transformation and tangible value.
Over more than 30 years, Karlqvist has worked as both an adviser and business leader, helping organisations navigate growth, transformation and change.
“As we explored the opportunity, it became increasingly clear that this was the right fit,” she said.“What attracted me was the combination of exceptional specialist expertise, an entrepreneurial and collaborative culture, the calibre of people across the group, and the opportunity to help shape Aura's next chapter.
“It's an organisation where decisions are made close to the business, collaboration comes naturally and people genuinely want to build something together. For me, it simply felt like the right opportunity at the right time, and I'm excited to be part of what comes next.”
Aura deputy CEO Johan Ramsten said:“Marta brings a rare combination of strategic advisory experience and executive leadership. She understands our clients' challenges because she has faced them herself, leading organisations, driving growth and making the decisions that shape successful businesses.
“Her commercial perspective, strategic mindset and collaborative leadership make her an outstanding addition to Aura, and we're delighted to welcome her as partner and chief business officer.”
