Up To 3 Years In Jail Or QR50,000 Fine For Driving Without License: Moi

Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Interior has warned the public that driving without a license constitutes a traffic violation punishable by imprisonment or heavy fines.

In a social media post, the Ministry said: Driving without a license is a traffic violation that poses a risk to the safety of all road users. Let us all commit to complying with traffic rules and regulations."

According to Article 94 of the Traffic Law, an offender shall be sentenced to either imprisonment for not less than one month and not more than three years, or a fine of not less than QR10,000 and not more than QR50,000.
