Man Sentenced To Life Imprisonment In Landi Kotal Drug Case
According to police, FIR No. 33 was registered against the accused at Landi Kotal Police Station on April 24, 2025, under Section 11-C/1/7 of the KPCNSA.
The case was investigated by Investigation Officer Hakeemullah. Police said that during the investigation, evidence was found confirming the recovery of 48,000 grams, or 48 kilograms, of ice from the accused. The evidence was documented in accordance with legal requirements, and the challan was submitted to the court.

Based on the available evidence, the court sentenced the accused to life imprisonment for possessing and illegally transporting 48 kilograms of ice. Additional Sessions Judge Khyber Muhammad Fayyaz also imposed a fine of Rs500,000. In case of non-payment, the accused will have to undergo an additional six months of simple imprisonment.
District Police Officer Khyber Waqar Ahmed praised Investigation Officer Hakeemullah for conducting an effective investigation. He said that preserving evidence and completing investigations in accordance with legal requirements are important responsibilities of the police in drug-related cases.
