US Grants USD 10M Award for Information on Senior IRGC Commanders
(MENAFN) The United States announces financial rewards of up to $10 million for information that helps identify or locate five senior commanders of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), according to the State Department’s Rewards for Justice program.
The program names IRGC Commander Ahmad Vahidi, Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters chief Ali Abdollahi, IRGC Aerospace Force UAV commander Sa’id Aghajani, IRGC Cyber-Electronic Command chief Hamidreza Zolasgharian and IRGC Intelligence Office commander Majid Khademi.
“These individuals command and direct various elements of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), which plans, organizes, and executes terrorism around the World,” Rewards for Justice said on US social media company X.
Under the initiative, individuals who provide information considered useful to the investigation may receive substantial financial compensation. Eligible informants could also be offered relocation assistance in addition to the monetary reward.
The announcement comes as tensions between Washington and Tehran remain high. It also follows earlier US initiatives aimed at obtaining information about senior Iranian government officials and prominent IRGC figures.
The latest rewards program reflects Washington’s continued efforts to collect intelligence on key members of Iran’s military and security establishment amid ongoing bilateral tensions.
