Army Black Hawk Suffers 'Mishap' Near Denver, No Injuries
(MENAFN) A US Army MH-60 Black Hawk helicopter was involved in an "aviation mishap" near Denver, Colorado, on Tuesday while conducting routine training operations, military and local officials said.
The incident took place on the eastern side of Thorodin Mountain in Gilpin County and involved four soldiers from Special Operations Aviation, according to the US Army Special Operations Aviation Command.
No injuries have been reported.
The Gilpin County Sheriff's Office said emergency crews responded to the scene and confirmed there was no known threat to the surrounding community. Authorities also said there was no fuel leak or fire connected to the incident.
