China Sends Seven Satellites into Orbit
(MENAFN) China successfully deploys seven satellites into space on Tuesday using a Long March-6C carrier rocket, according to reports.
The rocket launches from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center in northern Shanxi province and delivers all seven spacecraft into their designated orbits.
The mission represents the 665th flight conducted under China’s Long March rocket program, further expanding the country’s ongoing space-launch activities.
Meanwhile, China postpones the planned launch of its Chang’e-7 lunar probe after authorities determine that the mission does not currently meet the necessary "launch conditions."
According to the China Manned Space Agency, the decision means the spacecraft cannot be sent into space during the launch window originally scheduled for this year. Officials say the assessment follows a cautious approach focused on reliability and ensuring the mission achieves complete success.
Chang’e-7 had been expected to launch in the coming days from the Wenchang Space Launch Site on Hainan Island in southern China before the mission was delayed.
