(MENAFN- Live Mint) Delhi-Gurugram weather LIVE: The India Meteorological Department has issued a heavy rain alert for Delhi NCR on Tuesday.“Heavy rainfall likley over Delhi during next 2-3 hours,” it said in a tweet. The Met Department also predicted moderate Rain at many places and heavy rain at isolated places. Thunderstorm/ Lightning is very likely to occur at most places over Central, East, New Delhi, North East, North West, Shahdara, South, South East, South West, West Navdeep Dahiya told PTI that nearly 70 per cent of the national capital could receive moderate rainfall from morning to afternoon on Tuesday, with isolated places likely to receive heavy rain, he said,“The weather activity might not be as strong as it was on Monday.”After hours-long traffic on the Delhi-Gurugram Expressway and key roads on Monday, following an hour of heavy rainfall, the Gurugram administration advised corporate offices to allow employees to work from home on Tuesday. They also ordered government and private schools and educational institutions to conduct classes online in view of heavy rainfall and the possibility of waterlogging and traffic congestion, officials said.
