Israeli Drone Attack Hits Displacement Tent in Central Gaza, Killing Two

(MENAFN) An Israeli drone attack hits a displacement tent in Deir al-Balah in central Gaza early Monday, killing two Palestinians and injuring several others in another reported breach of the ceasefire that began on Oct. 10, 2025.

The tent, located near Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital, is sheltering displaced Palestinians when it comes under attack, according to medical reports. The two victims are identified as Mohammed Nasser Abu Assad and Ibrahim Nasser Abu Assad.

Israeli warplanes also carry out two strikes in the vicinity of the hospital, while Israeli artillery targets an area south of the Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza.

The latest attack follows a series of strikes on Sunday across central and southern Gaza. Those attacks kill two Palestinians, including a child, and injure 14 others.

Seven of the injured, along with the two people killed in Az-Zawayda, are reportedly hit by an Israeli strike shortly after Israeli forces issue an evacuation warning for the area.

According to Palestine Health Ministry figures, Israeli forces have repeatedly violated the ceasefire since it took effect, with the attacks leaving 1,286 Palestinians dead and 4,257 others wounded.
