Oman Sail signs Gold Partnership with ELB&T CO Ltd. to support national sailing teams ahead of the Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Asian Games
(MENAFN- omansail) Muscat, 24 August 2026 – Oman Sail has signed a Gold Partnership agreement with South Korea's ELB&T CO Ltd., whose strategic local partnership with Al Ramooz National LLC reflects a shared long-term commitment to Oman. Together, they will support the High-Performance 29er and 49er national sailing teams as they prepare to compete at the Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Asian Games in Japan.
This Gold Partnership will provide comprehensive support across athlete preparation, including elite coaching, equipment, logistics, travel, technical expertise and acclimatisation in Japan, ensuring the teams are fully prepared to compete on Asia's biggest sporting stage.
Following the Asian Games, the partnership will extend its impact beyond elite sport through a community activation programme in Duqm, where Oman Sail will deliver ‘Try Sailing’ experiences for local schoolchildren, inspiring the next generation of Oman's maritime talent.

The partnership comes at a critical time as both teams prepare for the final phase, a training camp in Gamagori, Japan, from 16-24 September 2026. Before their participation at the Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Asian Games from 26 September to 4 October 2026.
