War Update: 231 Clashes On Front Line Over Past Day, Kostiantynivka Direction Sees Fiercest Fighting
The Russian army launched 95 airstrikes using 299 guided aerial bombs, deployed 10,747 kamikaze drones, and carried out 3,110 attacks, including 29 using multiple launch rocket systems.
Artillery fire hit Neskuchne, Bachivsk, Rohizne, Ulanove, Sopych, Korenok, Shpyl, Budky, Volfyne, and Yastrubshchyna in Sumy region, as well as Kryvusha and Semenivka in Chernihiv region. The enemy also carried out an airstrike on the area of Tovstodubove.
Ukrainian Defense Forces aviation, missile forces, and artillery struck eight areas where enemy personnel were concentrated, six UAV control posts, five pieces of artillery, one command post, one communications hub, two multiple launch rocket systems, and one radar station belonging to Russian forces.

On the North Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, Ukrainian forces stopped six enemy assaults. The Russians carried out one airstrike, dropping one aerial bomb, and launched 95 attacks.
On the South Slobozhansky direction, Ukrainian units repelled nine enemy attacks. The invaders attempted to advance toward Okhrimivka, Symynivka, Kruhle, Zarubynka, and in the area of Vovchansk.
On the Kupiansk direction, the enemy conducted 16 offensive actions toward Radkivka and Kupiansk.
On the Lyman direction, Russian forces attacked 14 times toward Stepove, Chervonyi Stav, Druzheliubivka, Novyi Myr, Drobysheve, Lyman, and Novoselivka.
On the Sloviansk direction, the enemy launched eight assaults in the areas of Ozerne, Kryva Luka, and Zakitne.
On the Kramatorsk direction, Russian forces conducted one offensive action toward Yurkivka.
On the Kostiantynivka direction, 35 attacks were recorded. The invaders conducted assaults in the areas of Kostiantynivka, Illinivka, Toretske, Sofiivka, Dovha Balka, and toward Stepanivka, Pavlivka, Rusynyi Yar, and Vilne.
The Russian army launched 20 attacks on the Pokrovsk direction, attempting to advance toward Bilytske, Novyi Donbas, Svitlo, Serhiivka, Hannivka, Shevchenko, Matiashivske, Novopavlivka, and in the areas of Dorozhnie and Udachne.
On the Oleksandrivka direction, the invaders launched one attack toward Novе Zaporizhzhia.
On the Huliaipole direction, Russian forces attacked six times, attempting to advance toward Verkhnia Tersa, Staroukrainka, Hirke, and in the areas of Zaliznychne and Tsvitkove.
On the Orikhiv direction, Ukrainian forces stopped two attempts by the enemy to advance toward Pavlivka and Novoandriivka.
On the Dnipro River direction, Russian forces conducted no offensive actions.
On the Volyn and Polissia directions, no signs of Russian offensive groupings being formed were detected.

As previously reported by Ukrinform, total Russian military combat losses since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022, through August 24, 2026, are estimated at approximately 1,478,070 personnel.
