US Should Balance Security Assistance Between Ukraine And Middle East Kellogg
“There is a war going on in the Middle East. We have to balance what we are doing, balance the burden. And that is exactly what is being worked on. Right now, I would like to see the defense base in Ukraine expanded,” he said.
Kellogg emphasized that Ukraine has enormous potential in engineering and business, which the United States could help develop.
“That is where I would like to go. We, the United State, are expanding our defense base a little slowly. I understand that. And it takes time. So I think that if you shift some of that responsibility to Ukraine, I think that would be good, because you are so hardworking, and you can do it much faster than we can,” the former special envoy added.
