Maan Education Director Inspects Schools On First Day Of New Academic Year
Maan, Aug. 23 (Petra) -- Director of the Maan Education Directorate Safa Al-Mahamid conducted field inspections Sunday to monitor the start of the 2026/2027 academic year across local public schools.
During her tour, Al-Mahamid reviewed student reception procedures, classroom assignments, school transfer processing, and enrollment status for students entering academic tracks as well as vocational and technical education programs (BTEC).
Al-Mahamid assessed administrative, technical, and educational readiness, inspecting classroom facilities to ensure a stimulating learning environment.
She also inspected light and medium maintenance work completed across several schools, including repairs to electrical wiring, lighting units, fans, water networks, storage tanks, windows, and air conditioning units, alongside the preparation of science and computer laboratories.
Emphasizing student health and safety, Al-Mahamid underscored the need to maintain strict public safety standards in school canteens, verify the operational readiness of fire extinguishers, and ensure the safety of school entrances, exits, and courtyards.
