Israeli Occupation Forces Kill Two Palestinians In Occupied Jerusalem
Occupied Jerusalem, Aug. 23 (Petra) -- Israeli occupation forces two Palestinians and wounded five others Sunday during a raid on the town of Silwan, south of Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem.
The Jerusalem Governorate said in a statement that Jerusalemites Khalil al-Awar and his son, Ahmad, were killed by gunfire from occupation forces as they intervened in a dispute between two families in the town.
The governorate said occupation forces used excessive force, firing sound bombs, tear gas and gunfire, and prevented residents and mediators from stepping in to contain the dispute and prevent bloodshed.
