Kuwait Airways Denies Rumours Of First, Business Class Bookings Being Changed To Economy

(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) Kuwait Airways denied rumours of First Class or Business Class bookings being converted to Economy Class. In a statement issued on Sunday, the airline said these "claims are false and have no basis in reality."

If changes to a passenger's booking was required due to an operational circumstance, the "situation will be handled in accordance with established procedures," the statement read.

Kuwait Airways said that in this case, passengers would be contacted directly and informed, and their rights protected. This includes their entitlement to compensation in accordance with applicable international standards and practices, the firm added.

The airline said it reaffirmed its commitment to confirmed bookings and travel classes booked by passengers, and dedication to safeguarding passenger rights.

The statement added that the airline ensures customers will receive the services to which they are entitled, without imposing financial burdens or other consequences.

Kuwait Airways called on customers to obtain information regarding their bookings and flights from the company's official channels.
