Azerbaijan Discloses Securities Market Payments For First Half Of 2026


(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 20. The amounts of nominal, coupon, and dividend payments in the securities market for the first and second quarters of 2026 have been announced.

This was reported in the Statistical Bulletin of the National Depository Center (NDC) for the first and second quarters of 2026.

According to the bulletin, the total amount of payments in manats in nominal terms in the first quarter of 2026 amounted to 1.26 billion manat ($740 million), and in the second quarter – 1.57 billion manat ($923 million). Payments in U.S. dollars, in nominal terms, totaled $2.5 million in the first quarter, while no nominal payments in this currency were recorded in the second quarter.

Looking at the breakdown of nominal payments in manats, 911 million manat ($535.96 million) were paid on government bonds in the first quarter, 353.9 million manat ($208.2 million) on Central Bank bonds, and 4.5 million manat ($2.6 million) on corporate bonds.

In the second quarter, the volume of nominal payments on government bonds amounted to 660.9 million manat ($388.8 million), on Central Bank bonds – 355.4 million manat ($209.09 million), and on corporate bonds – 4.5 million manat ($2.6 million).

Of the nominal payments in U.S. dollars, $2.5 million were made on corporate bonds in the first quarter.

As for coupon payments, the figure in manats amounted to 148.3 million manat ($87.2 million) in the first quarter and 152.8 million manat ($89.8 million) in the second quarter. Coupon payments in U.S. dollars totaled $13.7 million in the first quarter and $9.371 million in the second quarter.

Government bonds accounted for the bulk of coupon payments in manats. In the first quarter, coupon payments on government bonds amounted to 139.3 million manat ($81.9 million), while corporate bonds accounted for 9.05 million manat ($5.3 million). In the second quarter, the corresponding figures were 143.4 million manat ($84.3 million) and 9.5 million manat ($5.6 million), respectively.

Coupon payments in U.S. dollars were made on corporate bonds. They amounted to $13.7 million in the first quarter and $9.4 million in the second quarter.

In addition, dividend payments totaling 200 million manat ($117.6 million) were made during the first and second quarters of 2026. The dividend payment, for which the CDA acted as the paying agent, was made by a corporate entity - a financial institution.
