Omari Leads 13-Member Delegation To Belarus
In a statement, the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock (MoAIL) said Omari travelled to Belarus at the official invitation of the Belarusian government.
The delegation includes the deputy minister of commerce and industry, representatives from MoAIL, the Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation (MoTCA), the Ministry of Finance (MoF) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA), as well as representatives of state-owned companies and the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs.
The ministry said the Afghan delegation is expected to hold talks with Belarusian officials on expanding bilateral economic and trade cooperation, strengthening economic ties and creating new opportunities for cooperation between the two countries.
The visit and the meeting of the Afghanistan-Belarus Joint Commission for Economic and Trade Cooperation will last five days, the statement concluded.
