Former Kandahar 2Nd Security District Chief Shot Dead In Quetta
Musa Kalim, a person close to Achakzai's family, told Pajhwok Afghan News that the attack took place in Quetta on Sunday morning.
He said Achakzai moved to Quetta after the previous government collapsed and had been living there since then.
Kalim said he had no further information about the nature of the attack.
