Five Civilians Injured In Russian Shelling In Kherson Region


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) The Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

"As of 17:30, five people have been confirmed injured as a result of Russian aggression," the statement said.

The prosecutors said that at around 06:40 and 07:00, Russian FPV drones struck civilian vehicles on a field road near the village of Sahaidachne. Five civilians sustained injuries of varying severity in the attacks.

Private and apartment buildings, a tractor and passenger cars were also damaged.

According to the prosecutors, on August 15, Russian forces attacked settlements across the region using tube artillery and various types of drones.

The Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office has launched a pretrial investigation into war crimes under Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

Twenty-eight people were injured in the Kherson region on August 14, including a child.
