July Was Spain's Hottest Month On Record: Weather Agency
Madrid: July was mainland Spain's joint-hottest month since records began in 1961, national weather agency AEMET said on Monday, after high temperatures fuelled the country's biggest wildfire in recent history.
The average temperature of 25.7C was 2.6C higher than the 1991-2020 reference period and tied with July 2022 as the warmest month, AEMET said in a statement.
