Patrick Dodd holds an MBA from the Thunderbird School of Global Management at Arizona State University in the United States. He has extensive experience in teaching and learning, and he is currently serving as a Professional Teaching Fellow in the Department of Marketing at the University of Auckland. With a focus on digital marketing, Patrick's research interests centre on utilising AI to enhance student outcomes.
Patrick was part of a team that won the Faculty Innovation in Teaching Excellence award for using and integrating AI into the curriculum. Additionally, the team has been shortlisted for the QS Reimagine Education Awards for the best use of GenAI.
Patrick's industry experience in digital marketing, particularly in Ukraine and Great Britain, was focused on assisting companies in leveraging digital technology to achieve their marketing objectives. With a deep understanding of how AI and technology can enhance marketing efforts, he is well-equipped to impart valuable insights to his students.
