NEW YORK - Edelman has appointed United Entertainment Group CEO Jarrod Moses as vice chairman, expanding his responsibilities across the firm's global network while he continues to lead the entertainment, sports and lifestyle marketing agency.
In his expanded role, Moses will work with leaders across Edelman to strengthen the firm's corporate communications and integrated marketing capabilities. The firm said he will help bring together its corporate communications, reputation advisory and marketing expertise with UEG's relationships across the entertainment, sports and creator sectors. He will report to global president and COO Mainardo de Nardis and global CFO Vic Malanga.
The move expands Moses' responsibilities beyond UEG as Edelman continues to bring together its corporate communications, reputation advisory and marketing teams with the entertainment, sports and creator expertise housed within the specialty agency.
Moses has worked with Edelman leadership over the past decade to expand the role of entertainment, sports and creators across the firm's client offering. He also leads UEG Ventures, the agency's brand incubation and investment platform. According to Edelman, his client work has included Samsung, Starbucks and Unilever.
Moses said the convergence of communications, marketing, entertainment, sports and the creator economy presents new opportunities for brands. "The lines between communications, marketing, entertainment, sports, creators, and culture continue to blur, creating enormous opportunities for brands willing to think differently," he said.
