I am an historian of British History by training and a writer on science fiction and popular culture by inclination. My work revolves around religion and poltiics in a variety of settings from the English Civil Wars to speculative fiction set in the far future. Recent works have included studies of Margaret Thatcher parodies to bishops in the 17th century, and lots on Doctor Who.
