Erdogan Slams Israel as 'Massacre Network,' Vows Peace Will Prevail
(MENAFN) Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan declared Wednesday that peace would ultimately triumph across the region, even as he launched a scathing verbal assault on Israel over what he described as deliberate efforts to perpetuate conflict.
Characterizing Israel as "a reckless group," Erdogan charged that Tel Aviv "never wants the guns to fall silent in our region."
Speaking before a party gathering in parliament, the Turkish president escalated his rhetoric further, labeling Israel a "massacre network which has made terror and occupation its state policy."
Erdogan also accused Israel of systematically working to sabotage the "hard-won consensus" achieved over the preceding ten days, alleging that Tel Aviv had exhausted every available avenue to derail the fragile diplomatic progress.
Turning to Türkiye's growing regional influence, Erdogan expressed pride in his country's role and pledged that Ankara would press ahead with its efforts to broker a lasting resolution to the ongoing conflict in Iran.
