Turkey Rejects Netanyahu’s Accusations Against Erdogan
(MENAFN) Türkiye has firmly dismissed what it described as “baseless, provocative and untrue accusations” made against President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, stating that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is attempting to mislead global public opinion.
In a statement, the Turkish Foreign Ministry said the claims directed at Erdogan were part of a broader effort by Netanyahu and his associates to divert attention from their own conduct and responsibilities.
The ministry said: “The baseless, provocative and untrue accusations directed at our esteemed President are nothing more than an effort by Netanyahu and his accomplices to mislead international public opinion,”
It added: “The lies resorted to by Netanyahu, the genocide expert, in order to cover up the facts cannot conceal his responsibility for the grave crimes he has committed,”
According to the statement, Ankara intends to continue publicly criticizing Netanyahu and his administration while also pursuing accountability through international legal channels and institutions.
The remarks reflect escalating diplomatic tension between Türkiye and Israel, with both sides increasingly exchanging strong political accusations amid ongoing regional conflict dynamics.
