Iran Reports Fifteen Injured in Israeli Strikes, No Fatalities
(MENAFN) Iran’s emergency services chief has stated that 15 people were injured in recent Israeli attacks, with no deaths recorded so far.
According to reports, Jafar Miadfar, who heads Iran’s Emergency Organization, said on Monday that the majority of the injured—14 people—were located in Mahshahr County in Khuzestan province in the southwest of the country, while one additional injury was reported in Tehran.
He noted that one individual remains under medical care, while the remaining 14 have already been discharged after receiving treatment.
“No fatalities have been reported so far,” he said.
Miadfar also said that Iran’s healthcare system and emergency response services are operating at full readiness and remain prepared to respond to any further escalation.
The remarks came amid heightened regional tensions following Sunday’s escalation, when Israel carried out an airstrike on Beirut despite an existing ceasefire. Iran subsequently responded with missile fire toward northern Israel, prompting further waves of Israeli airstrikes targeting sites inside Iran.
