Russian Forces Attack Car With Drone In Sumy Region, Four Injured

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) According to Ukrinform, the Sumy Regional Prosecutor's Office reported this on Telegram.

“According to the investigation, on June 8, 2026, at approximately 7:10 a.m., the enemy attacked, according to preliminary data, a car with a drone in a public place in the city of Hlukhiv. As of 12:00 p.m., four victims had sought medical attention, including two men born in 1971 and two born in 1974," the statement reads.

It is noted that civilian infrastructure and vehicles were damaged.

Prosecutors, in coordination with other law enforcement agencies, are documenting the consequences of the attack.

Under the procedural guidance of the Shostka District Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation is underway into the commission of war crimes (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

As reported by Ukrinform, an older woman was killed in Konotop as a result of a Russian strike on a high-rise building; her body was recovered from the rubble. Three people were also reported to be wounded.
