I hold an undergraduate degree and a PhD in Immunology from Trinity College, Dublin and the University of Glasgow respectively. I have also completed post-doctoral training at the University of Manchester also focussing on Immunology. My expertise is on skin immunology including autoimmune and allergic skin inflammation such as Psoriasis and Eczema. I am currently a lecturer in Immunology at Sheffield Hallam University and my research focuses on the role of unconventional immune cells in skin inflammatory diseases.
