JHCO Sends 6Th Aid Convoy To Lebanon, Bringing Total Relief Deliveries To 130 Trucks
JHCO said that the convoy was organised in cooperation with the World Food Programme, the Jordan Armed Forces–Arab Army and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
With the latest shipment, the total number of aid trucks Jordan has sent to Lebanon under its continuing relief bridge has reached 130, carrying humanitarian assistance and essential supplies to vulnerable communities across the country, JHCO said.
The organisation said that the initiative reflects Jordan's longstanding commitment to supporting neighboring countries during times of crisis and responding to growing humanitarian needs in the region.
The convoy aims to help strengthen food security and provide direct assistance to affected families in various Lebanese regions through the organised distribution of essential aid, it said.
The organisation also expressed its appreciation to Syrian authorities for facilitating the transit of humanitarian convoys through Syrian territory en route to Lebanon.
