Serbia’s President Begins First State Visit to China
(MENAFN) According to reports, Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić has begun a five-day official visit to China, arriving in Beijing for high-level talks scheduled to run through May 28.
The visit, described as Vučić’s first state trip to China, is expected to include meetings with Chinese President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Qiang to review bilateral relations and discuss broader international developments.
According to reports, the discussions are expected to focus on strengthening political and economic cooperation between the two countries, alongside coordination on global issues of mutual interest.
Trade between Serbia and China has reportedly reached approximately $9.37 billion, making China Serbia’s second-largest trading partner.
The visit reflects ongoing efforts by both sides to deepen diplomatic and economic engagement as part of a broader expansion of their bilateral relationship.
