"The number of victims in the city due to the collapse of a residential building has risen to 15 dead and five injured," an official in Fez told media.
The official confirmed that the five-story structure, situated in the Jnan Jroudi neighborhood of the Ain Naqbi district, suffered a total collapse.
A correspondent at the scene reported that rescue operations have since been concluded following the sudden failure of the building, which triggered widespread panic among residents of neighboring structures.
