Kreab Expands Into Middle East With Riyadh Office

RIYADH-Global strategic communications firm Kreab has launched its first office in the Middle East. The Riyadh office will operate under the Kreab Saudi Arabia name, and signals that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will be a strategic hub for managing the firm's regional expansion plans.
Kreab has appointed Shurjil Syed as managing partner of Kreab Saudi Arabia. He has 20 years of experience working with government institutions and major companies across the energy, technology, engineering, consulting, and consumer goods sectors, in addition to his professional experience at the Public Investment Fund. Theodor Swedjemark, chairman and CEO of Sunlight Advisors, a boutique advisory firm based in Switzerland has been named as chairman.
The new office opens as the Kingdom is making long-term strategic investment aligned with the economic transformation taking place in the Kingdom under its Vision 2030, and the opportunities it offers across investment, energy, technology, infrastructure, and giga-project sectors, leading to growing demand for corporate communications, reputation management, and specialized advisory services.
The office will provide services to Saudi institutions, government entities, investment firms, family businesses, and multinational corporations operating in the Kingdom and across the region, in addition to international organizations seeking to enter the Saudi market or expand their presence in regional markets.
Those services focus on strategic communications consultancy, corporate affairs, reputation management, and public affairs solutions.
