Russia Conducts Nuclear-Capable Military Drills Across Strategic Forces
(MENAFN) Russia has continued large-scale military exercises involving nuclear-capable weapons systems, with multiple branches of its armed forces participating in coordinated training operations, according to official statements.
The country’s Defense Ministry reported that units from strategic missile forces, naval fleets, and long-range aviation formations are engaged in drills designed to simulate preparation for potential combat missions involving missile deployment and launches.
As part of the exercises, mobile intercontinental missile systems have been positioned along designated patrol routes and moved to field deployment locations to test readiness and operational mobility.
In parallel, nuclear-powered submarines equipped with ballistic missiles have been deployed to assigned maritime zones, where they are conducting simulated combat duty scenarios as part of the broader exercise framework.
The ministry also stated that aerospace units are practicing operational procedures involving advanced missile systems, including the loading of specialized warheads and conducting patrol flights over designated areas.
The drills involve coordination across multiple military districts, reflecting what officials describe as routine testing of strategic readiness and integrated command structures across Russia’s nuclear-capable forces.
