April 2026 Hedge Fund Positioning: AI Infrastructure Names Dominate The Crowded Shorts

According to Hazeltree's April 2026 Crowding Report, surveying more than 600 global hedge funds tracked across roughly 16,000 securities, funds upped their large-cap technology bets while concentrating shorts n a narrow set of names where the AI-infrastructure bet is uncertain.
