Modi Starts European Visit in Netherlands with Royal Talks
(MENAFN) Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched the European leg of his six-day international tour with meetings in The Hague, where he engaged with members of the Dutch royal family and business representatives.
During his visit, Modi met King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima at Huis ten Bosch Palace, as part of a broader diplomatic and economic outreach across Europe and the Middle East, according to local media reports.

The trip began in the United Arab Emirates and will continue across several European countries, including Sweden, Norway, and Italy, where further high-level meetings are planned.
Modi is also expected to meet European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen during the visit.
In Sweden, Modi is scheduled to meet Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson to review bilateral relations and deepen cooperation. Both leaders are also set to participate in discussions at the European Round Table for Industry alongside von der Leyen.
The tour reflects India’s ongoing effort to strengthen strategic, economic, and technological partnerships with European nations.
