(MENAFN) According to reports, Hezbollah announced that it carried out 17 separate attacks and confrontations targeting Israeli military sites in southern Lebanon, saying the operations were in response to continued violations of a ceasefire agreement.

Hezbollah said it launched rocket fire at Israeli forces moving from Bayyada toward Naqoura in southern Lebanon.
It also claimed that drones and rocket salvos struck six gatherings of Israeli soldiers and military vehicles in areas including Qouzah and Srebbine, as well as two positions in the Iskandariyya area and additional sites in Bint Jbeil. The group further reported strikes on the Blat military site and newly deployed military equipment in Khiam.
In a separate statement, Hezbollah said its fighters targeted an Israeli Merkava tank with a guided missile in the Tal Nahas area on the outskirts of Kfar Kila, claiming the strike was a direct hit.
