IDF Soldiers Get Harmed Amid Ongoing Cross-Border Violence in Lebanon

(MENAFN) Three Israeli soldiers were reportedly lightly injured after an explosive drone struck in southern Lebanon, according to Israeli media reports.

The soldiers were taken to hospital for treatment following the incident, which was reported by Channel 12. Officials described their injuries as minor.

The event comes amid continued military activity along the Israel–Lebanon border, where exchanges of fire have persisted despite a ceasefire agreement announced on April 17 and later extended until May 17.

At the same time, reports from Lebanese sources indicated that additional Israeli strikes in southern Lebanon on the same day resulted in multiple casualties, including at least four people killed and eight others injured.

The situation remains part of an ongoing escalation involving Israeli forces and Hezbollah, with both sides continuing to report attacks despite diplomatic efforts to reduce tensions.
According to official figures cited in reports, thousands of casualties have occurred in Lebanon since early March, along with widespread displacement affecting a significant portion of the population.
