- Assistant Professor of Earth Sciences, Binghamton University, State University of New York
I am a paleobiologist who studies how animals that lived in geologic time would have evolved in response to big changes on Earth and how different fossil groups are evolutionarily related to one another. My other research focus is on how students learn in the classroom and finding ways to make the science community more inclusive for all. In addition to research, I teach a range of classes and train graduate students. When I'm not admiring fossils or working with students, I love hiking and kayaking, reading, spending time with my pets and family, and crafting.
