Svitolina Defeats Baptiste At WTA 1000 Tournament In Rome
(MENAFN- UkrinForm) According to Ukrinform, Ukraine's top-ranked player, Elina Svitolina (No. 10 in the WTA rankings), defeated world No. 25 Haley Baptiste (USA) 6-1, 6-2 in the third round.
The match lasted 1 hour and 8 minutes.
In the fourth round (round of 16), the Ukrainian participant will face the winner of the match between Madison Keys (USA, No. 19) and Nikola Bartůňková (Czech Republic, No. 94).

Elina won the tournament in the Italian capital in 2017 and 2018, and reached the quarterfinals last season.
